These famous people have legions of fans who miss them and would love to know the last thing they pondered while alive. Elvis Presley's death is considered as a mystery. Many people believe that he is still alive, but in reality, the legendary singer died due to a heart attack on 16 August 1977. His last words allegedly were, "I'm going to the bathroom to read." While there have been other reports that he said, "Okay, I won't". 2 . James Dean Died: September 30, 1955 James Dean died in a crash car which is considered as haunted. He used to call the car as 'Little Bastard.' His last words were apparently, "That guy's got to stop… He'll see us." 3. John Lennon Died: December 8, 1980 John Lennon uttered his final words in front of the receptionist of the building he was entering when he was shot. He said, "I'm shot," and then collapsed on the ground. 4. Bob Marley Died: May 11, 1981 Bob Marley was in the conservation with his son, Ziggy just before his death. He said, "Money can't buy life." 5. John Wayne Died: June 11, 1979 The legendary actor said to his wife, "Of course I know who you are. You're my girl. I love you," moments before his death. 6. Marvin Gaye Died: April 1, 1984 The soul legend was shot dead by his own father. His last words were supposedly, "Mother, I'm going to get my things and get out of this house. Father hates me and I'm never coming back." 7. Alfred Hitchcock Died: April 29, 1980 The legendary director said a long sentence but his words were truly amazing. He said, "One never knows the ending. One has to die to know exactly what happens after death, although Catholics have their hopes." 8. Joan Crawford Died: May 10, 1977 The actress had some really badass words to utter before dying. Joan said, "Damn it! Don't you dare ask God to help me!" She died on 10 May 1977. 9. Groucho Marx Died: August 19, 1977 The American actor died of pneumonia on August 19, 1977. The comedian said a chilling and haunting line before taking the last breath. He said, "Die, my dear? Why that's the last thing I'll do!" 10 . James Brown Died: December 25, 2006 The late legendary singer James Brown died due to heart failure on December 25, 2006. According to reports, his last words were, "I'm going away tonight." 11. Heath Ledger Died: January 22, 2008 Heath Ledger's death was the most tragic one of the past decade. According to his father, the legendary actor, he said "Katie, Katie, look...it'll be fine, you know, I just need to get some sleep," to his sister. 12. Steve Jobs Died: October 5, 2011 The co-founder of Apple died due to cancer and his last words were, "Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow." I think he was able to imagine the future of Apple Inc. 13. Paul Walker Died: November 30, 2013 Another legendary actor who died in a car crash. His last words were, "We will be back in five minutes." Paul died on 30 November 2013 in California. 14. Michael Jackson Died: June 25, 2009 On 25 June 2009, King of Pop took his last breath at his home in California. His last words were, "More milk." Michael used to call propofol as milk. 15. Whitney Houston Died: February 11, 2012 Whitney Houston's tragic death took place in her bathroom tub. She died due to a heart attack and her last words were reported to be, "I'm going to go and see Jesus." 16. Donald O’Connor Died: September 27, 2003 Donald O’Connor was a singer, dancer, and actor. He also hosted the Academy Awards in 1954. O'Connor died at age 78 with his family gathered around him. He joked, “I’d like to thank the Academy for my lifetime achievement award that I will eventually get.” He still hasn’t gotten one. 17. Jack Soo Died: January 11, 1979 Jack Soo was an actor on the TV series Barney Miller. On the show, there was a running gag about Soo’s character making crappy coffee in the office. Soo developed cancer of the esophagus, and when was being wheeled into an operating room, he joked to Barney Miller co-star Hal Linden, “It must have been the coffee.” In a tribute episode, cast members raised coffee cups in Soo’s memory. 18. Joan Crawford Died: May 10, 1977 Actress Joan Crawford yelled at her housekeeper, who was praying as Crawford died. Crawford said, “Damn it! Don’t you dare ask God to help me!” 19. Leonard Nimoy Died: February 27, 2015 These may not be his last words, but Nimoy's last tweet was: "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP."
