Jonah Hill Rumor has it that Moneyball costar Brad Pitt is responsible for Jonah Hill’s dramatic weight loss but we’re happy to hear it was a nutritionist’s advice that helped him shed the pounds. John Goodman One of the most respected actors in the industry, Goodman decided he was tired of the “large guy” stereotype and adopted a healthier lifestyle by ditching what he refers to as “crapola.” No stranger to dieting after losing 60-70 pounds in his early career, Goodman has taken his recent weight loss more seriously (and slower) and is now 100 pounds slimmer than before. When asked about his new look and health, Goodman joked, “Just wait another six months and I’ll be back to normal.” Luckily, Goodman’s new and healthier version of normal has stuck. 16. Tom Arnold Extremely vocal about his former drug and alcohol addiction, Arnold also claims that he was addicted to food before 2014 when he reappeared in front of cameras 100 pounds lighter. Randy Jackson Accustomed to life on the road and eating poorly, Jackson decided to change his life completely in 2003 after weighing in at a whopping 350 pounds. Opting for gastric bypass surgery two years after being diagnosed with diabetes, the 59-year-old Jackson lost a large amount of weight in a short amount of time when he returned to American Idol weighing 220 pounds. Chris Pratt Trying out for the part of Scott Hatteberg in the 2011 film Moneyball but told he was too heavy after weighing in at 280 pounds, Pratt was determined to win the role and headed straight for the gym.
