Released in 1997, 'Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery' starred former 'SNL' funny man Mike Myers as a British spy from the swinging '60s, awakened from a cryo-sleep to fight his old nemesis in the '90s, where he must hilariously adjust to modern life and culture. A satire of classic British spy films (notably the James Bond series), 'Austin Powers' was a smashing success, becoming an instant comedy classic and giving us two sequels. Seventeen years later, we revisit the cast and see what they're up to now. What are they all up to now? Liz Hurley, who played Vanessa Kensington in Austin Powers, went on to have a recurring role on Gossip Girl, and most recently starred as Queen Helena on E!'s drama The Royals. After Austin Powers, leading man Wagner moved to the small screen and joined the cast of Two and a Half Men as Teddy Leopold, before setting up shop at NCIS for five years as Anthony DiNozzo. Since then, Mimi's turned up in the X-Files, Two and a Half Men, Mad Men and NCIS, where she reconnected with fellow Austin Powers castmate, Robert Wagner. Will Ferrell appears in the first two Austin Powers films as Mustafa, one of Dr. Evil's henchmen. In both films, his character meets an ugly demise. What’s Ferrell been up to since??? Rob Lowe played a friend of one of Dr. Evil’s decapitated henchmen in the first film but ended up on the cutting-room floor. Then, after doing a perfect Robert Wagner impersonation to Mike Myers on the golf course, Myers cast him in the next two films as the younger version of Number 2, the character Wagner plays. After Austin Powers came show-stopping turns in The West Wing, Brothers & Sisters, Parks and Recreation, Grinder, and Behind the Candelabra. Heather Graham was Felicity Shagwell in the Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Since then she’s been hilarious in The Hangover, Arrested Development and Californication. She even appeared in Goldmember, but her scene was cut out. Michael Caine was a legend before playing Austin’s father in Austin Powers In Goldmember and the movie did nothing to dampen his reputation. Since then, he’s played Alfred in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, Children of Men, Inception, Interstellar, and Kingsman: The Secret Service. Now 84, Sir Michael has been on a health kick and has cut down on drinking and banned sugar, salt, and gluten from meals. In her first mainstream acting gig, Beyoncé played Foxxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers in Goldmember and together, she and Austin helped defeat Dr. Evil. These days she's... well… she’s Beyoncé. Icon, role model, 22 Grammy awards, and pregnant with twins! Verne Troy was Mini-Me in The Spy Who Shagged Me and Goldmember. He’s since appeared in Boston Public, Scrubs and Two and a Half Men. Recently, he made an appearance on Oprah’s Where Are They Now and recounted the day he gave someone a bloody nose for calling him, “a midget”. Mindy Sterling’s biggest role to date has been that of Frau Farbissina – Dr. Evil’s henchwoman and the mother of his child, in all three Austin Powers films.
