Princess Margaret was an icon back in the day for the Royal Family, sporting her femininity and glam everywhere she went. Though she died nearly 20 years ago, her legacy continues to live on in her grandchildren. It’s fairly clear that they inherited all of her good-looking features!
She has a total of four grandchildren, two of which are primarily soaking up the royal sun. Their names are Arthur Chatto, Sam Chatto, Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones, and Charles Armstrong-Jones. Arthur and Sam make no qualms about sharing their life with the world via Instagram.
The two are age 21 and 18 respectively. They are the sons of Lady Sarah Chatto, the daughter of Princess Margaret. They are technically in line for the throne, but fairly far down, being in spots 24 and 25 respectively, after their mother, who is 23rd in line.
Arthur apparently kept up with royal tradition and attended college at Eton College, following in the footsteps of Prince William and Prince Harry. He was a member of the Combined Cadet Forces while in attendance. He apparently carried the Queen’s train at the Order of The British Empire service in 2012, so he’s definitely keeping in line for the royal family tradition!
Sam is pretty awesome, too, and enjoys the simpler things in life such as yoga and traveling. He does not share very often on his social media, but when he does it’s always an uplifting caption and a positive picture. Sam is currently a History of Art student at Edinburgh University, but is due to graduate soon!
Sam is also interactive with his followers on Instagram, although he doesn’t post as often as Arthur. In his most recent post of him and Arthur at the royal wedding, his caption said, “The wedding yesterday was so full of love and warmth and joy!! I wish Meghan and Harry a lifetime of happiness and also want to share some of the sweet love I gathered up inside me with all of you!! So tag someone you love (romantic or plutonic) and let them know why they’re special I’ll go first: @artchatto I love you bro (and I’m not just saying that cos you’re so big you could squish me) Love, Sam x”
We are loving the positivity and can’t wait to see what these boys bring to the royal family down the road.
