There is another Royal wedding in the works and we couldn’t be more excited! Princess Eugenie, daughter of Duchess Sarah Ferguson, will marry Jack Brooksbank in October 2018. They plan to marry in the same magical venue that Meghan and Prince Harry got married in.
Eugenie and Jack will wed on October 12, 2018, in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. The guest list will likely be smaller than Meghan and Harry’s because Princess Eugenie isn’t a working royal. However, at least a portion of the wedding will be paid for by the Royal family. The rest will be split between the Brooksbank family and Prince Andrew and Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson.
Prince Eugenie and Jack have been dating for almost seven years. They were introduced by friends while visiting a Swiss ski resort. This was when the Princess was still in college at Newcastle University.
Jack does have some Royal connections. He is descended from the Brooksbank baronets. However, his family is not Royal. His father is an accountant. Jack currently works in hospitality. He has managed London nightclubs in the past and he is currently the UK ambassador for George Clooney and Rande Gerber’s tequila brand, Casamigo. What a cool job!
Jack proposed to Eugenie while they were on vacation in Nicaragua and they shared the news on January 22, 2018, on Twitter. Sarah also expressed her joy about the two getting engaged through social media.
The two have been seen out and about a lot lately. They attended Meghan and Harry’s wedding in May and attended Trooping the Colour, the Queen’s annual birthday parade.
We wonder what their wedding will look like and what gown Princess Eugenie has chosen for her special day!
