2018 Academy Of Country Music Awards: All The Winners Of This Year’s ACM Awards

Single Record of the Year: “Body Like a Back Road” by Sam Hunt

This win didn’t come as a huge surprise to anyone, since “Body Like a Back Road” topped country charts and even made it onto pop radio stations. Other nominees for this award included “I’ll Name The Dogs” by Blake Shelton, “Better Man” by Little Big Town, “Broken Halos” by Chris Stapleton, and “Drinkin’ Problem” by Midland.

Song of the Year: “Tin Man” by Miranda Lambert (written by Miranda Lambert, Jack Ingram, and Jon Randall)

It was a huge night for Miranda Lambert, who raked in the awards. “Tin Man” was up against the following songs for the award: “Whiskey and You” by Chris Stapleton, “Body Like a Back Road” by Sam Hunt, and “Female” by Keith Urban.

Video of the Year: “It Ain’t My Fault” by Brothers Osborne

Brothers Osborne won two awards last night! Their video beat “Black” by Dierks Bentley, “Legends” by Kelsea Ballerini, “Marry Me” by Thomas Rhett, and “We Should Be Friends” by Miranda Lambert.

Vocal Event of the Year: “The Fighter” by Keith Urban feat. Carrie Underwood

What a duo! No wonder they won this award. The other nominees were “What Ifs” by Kane Brown feat. Lauren Alaina, “Funny (How Time Slips Away)” by Glen Campbell and Willie Nelson, “Dear Hate” by Maren Morris feat. Vince Gill, and “Craving You” by Thomas Rhett feat. Maren Morris.

Songwriter of the Year: Rhett Akins

Rhett Akins won Songwriter of the Year over Josh Osborne, Shane McAnally, Ashley Gorley, and Hillary Lindsey.

Did you watch the ACM Awards last night? If you did, did you catch this moment, where Reba wore the same dress she wore in 1993?
