According to The Weather Channel, McMaster issued an evacuation plan in his announcement. He said that “authorities will reverse all eastbound lanes of Interstate 26 into Charleston and U.S. 501 into Myrtle Beach, sending all traffic in one direction – away from the coast. Two other roadways will be ready for lane reversals by noon Tuesday in case they’re needed.”
