Have you ever wanted to be in a Hallmark movie? Well, now you can pretend you are! You can actually stay in the inn that is featured in five Hallmark movies. The inn is called Rowena’s Inn on the River and it is located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
It is featured in all of the Wedding March movies including the newest Wedding March 4: Something Old, Something New. It was also featured in I Do, I Do, I Do.
The inn is on the Harrison River and is gorgeous! The photos of weddings that have been held there are breathtaking. With mountain and river views, it is a perfect location in Vancouver. The inn is only a few hours away from downtown Vancouver as well.
In the Hallmark Wedding March series of movies, the storyline centers around the inn. College sweethearts Olivia and Mick run the Willow Lake Inn. It is said that the inn is in Vermont and is a wedding venue. However, the inn is really Rowena’s Inn on the River in Vancouver.
It is a 160-acre waterfront inn and is a bed and breakfast style place. It is an English-style manor because it was originally granted to a local family by Queen Victoria herself. It was purchased by the Pretty family in 1917, then sold to Sandpiper Resort in 2016.
The inside also looks pretty rustic and cabin like. It looks like the perfect place to get married or enjoy a vacation away from it all.
Their website states, “Whether you’re staying in a cozy inn room or in a luxury cottage, each suite is a room with a view. Waking up to a country breakfast, going on a therapeutic forest stroll, unwinding in the waterfront pool and hot tub, enjoying High Tea, or simply surrendering to a rejuvenating spa treatment are just a few of the amenities that are available.”
It is such a beautiful location, no wonder it is a popular wedding venue in real life and a backdrop in Hallmark movies.
Would you ever want to stay at Rowena’s Inn on the River? Would you pretend like you were actually in a Hallmark movie?
