The ranch went even further in giving an update on her condition. “Ms. Loretta is making improvements and getting stronger every day,” the page wrote. “And she knows her fans are praying for her. She can’t wait to come back and sing for you all.”
Lynn suffered the stroke on May 4. She had to cancel two concerts in July, though she is thankfully out of the hospital and now at a rehabilitation clinic.
Doctors expect Lynn to make a full recovery, which is truly amazing. She celebrated her 85th birthday on April 14. No word if she’ll recover in time to continue performing this summer, but don’t count her out. The tough country pioneer has fought tough battles her whole life.
The next shows on Lynn’s schedule also celebrate the release of her new album, Wouldn’t It Be Great. She plays the Ryman Auditorium on Aug. 24 and 25.
