Edie McClurg – who put in a show-stealing performance as a school secretary – probably has the longest list of roles of all the Ferris cast.
She appeared in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Curly Sue, Natural Born Killers, The Golden Girls, Roseanne, Seinfeld, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Desperate Housewives. And she really comes into her own as a voice actor, with credits including The Little Mermaid, A Bug’s Life, Cars, Wreck-it-Ralph, Frozen and, most recently, Zootropolis.
Jones followed his role as the angry Dean of Students with a load of high-profile movies, including Beetlejuice, The Hunt for Red October, Ed Wood, The Devil’s Advocate, Sleepy Hollow and… er… Howard the Duck. He also did a lot of voice work on animated shows such as Batman: The Animated Series, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters and Invader Zim.
His arrest in 2003 for possessing child pornography landed him on the sex offenders register and effectively ended his acting career.
