With travel bans across the country and an increased risk for the elderly, the temporary ban on audiences makes sense for the shows. Recently, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a warning for those over 60 years old.

Americans over 60 are supposed to stay home for the time being and avoid crowds. They are more likely to catch coronavirus and become seriously ill or even die from the virus.

No word on how long the shows will tape without an audience. It will likely last until the warning has been removed.
