We reported a few weeks ago that there was going to be a follow-up to A Very Brady Renovation… a Christmas special! However, at the time, it was mostly speculation on what the special was going to consist of. We now have more information ready to share with you, and it looks like Ree Drummond will also be playing a role in the special!
What is going to be called A Very Brady Renovation: Holiday Edition will premiere on HGTV on Monday, December 16, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Mark your calendars!
If you couldn’t tell by the fact that Ree Drummond is featured in the special, it’s slated to be a Food Network and HGTV crossover. Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) will be joined by Food Network’s Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond. Additionally, Jasmine Roth of HGTV’s Hidden Potential will also be joining in on the fun.
The group will be spending some time decorating the newly renovated home for the holidays. They will also be whipping up some ’70s-inspired Christmas dishes. Yummy!
In addition to all the decorating and yummy food, Roth will be putting her DIY skills to the test. She’ll be whipping up some holiday-inspired projects for the Brady Bunch cast, such as turning shutters into toy soldier lawn decorations. The episode will finish up with the whole crew sitting down for Christmas dinner next to their decorated tree!
HGTV president Jane Latman releases a statement on the excitement of this new Brady Bunch venture. “We have remarkable star experts across every area of lifestyle content, so of course we’re inviting Food Network star Ree Drummond to HGTV’s Brady holiday episode,” she says. “Along with Jasmine Roth and the Brady siblings, we’ve assembled a dream team to create the ultimate holiday programming event.”
In addition to the six Brady Bunch kids, the cast will also include Property Brothers stars Jonathan and Drew Scott, Good Bones’ Mina Starsiak and Karen E Laine, Flea Market Flip’s Lara Spencer, Restored by the Fords siblings Leanne and Steve Ford and the aforementioned (Roth and Drummond).
We are so excited to watch this holiday special! Be sure to mark down the date and time so you won’t miss it either.
