Halle Berry’s undoubtedly one of the greatest actresses of her time. She’s been around for absolute ages, or since 1989, and has established herself as one of Hollywood’s leading ladies. She’s uber talented, can make any role into a success, and she’s super hot too, which of course always helps when it comes to getting a fan following, and Halle’s acquired a rather sizable fan following over the years. We’ve seen her transform from this young actress, fresh out of the modeling industry and beauty pageant scene, to the actress we all know and love today, one of the best. Looking back at things, her filmography and those iconic films she’s starred in, it’s amazing to think about all she’s accomplished. And she’s not done yet, not by a long shot. She’s a work horse and just keeps churning out hit after hit, and is showing no signs of slowing down, even now she’s reached her half century. Yes, amazingly, Halle Berry reached a massive milestone last year, and that’s her 50th birthday. But – aside from the hairstyles and changes in fashion – she looks exactly like she did 20 year back; this is one woman who just never seems to age. Halle looks fabulous at 50, and has looked stunning right throughout her career from beauty queen to Bond girl, and consequently there are a ton of hot pics of her out there on the webosphere for people to admire. But now that she is 50, let’s look back to some pics from her younger days, to remind ourselves how amazing she’s always managed to look. Muscle Woman Halle’s renowned for being beautiful but also for having an amazing physique and being incredibly fit. Sure, it’s kind of part of being a star nowadays, you’ve got to look incredible and have a stunning body, meaning you’ve got to be fit and healthy, but Halle was into all of that long before the whole fitness thing became a craze amongst celebrities. This is a pic of her from her modeling days. I can’t say when this was taken, although it’s safe to assume that it’s a pic from her younger days, and you can see just how fit she was back then. She’s modeling that patterned top and those black pants, but the pic’s not really about the clothes, it’s all about Halle. She looks amazing, flexing doing a double bicep pose, and we can see plenty of her hot set of “twins” too as she flaunts her body for the cameras. 2. Strictly Business Okay, so this is really a blast from the past. Halle had only been acting for a couple of years when she got this role. She’d been a regular on the TV series, Living Dolls, but after the show got cancelled, she decided to try her luck in L.A. She managed to get a few more TV roles, but she was really after roles in movies, and wanted to become a big time actress on the big screen. Her first movie role was a start, a small role as a drug addict in Spike Lee‘s Jungle Fever, but it got her started, and was enough to get her noticed. Later that year she earned her first major role in the movies, co-starring in Strictly Business, and after that her career gradually began to gain momentum and she went from strength to strength. Race The Sun By 1996, Halle was already into the swing of things and had established herself as one of the hottest, most desirable and best actresses around. She’d done nine films since then, and this is a pic of her on the set of her seventh, Race the Sun, and what a stunning location it was, made all the more beautiful because of Halle’s presence. The film’s set in Hawaii and Halle fit right in – in fact, many people think she looks like she comes from that tropical part of the U.S. In the movie, Halle plays a science teacher – can’t see how her students would’ve gotten much work done with her at the head of their classroom! We also, much to everyone’s delight, saw a lot of her in her bikini sunning herself on the beautiful beaches the region has to offer. With her hourglass curves and Mona Lisa smile, Halle looks stunning in this pic, and of course that Hawaiian print bikini and garland of flowers just ads to the exotic nature of it all. 4. Spooked Halle Berry in lingerie, people were waiting to see that in a movie for a long time, and these people got their fill when watching Halle in the 2001 thriller, Swordfish. The film itself was an epic flop – if you pay any attention to reviews that is – but the film became memorable for one iconic scene. It received a ton of press just because it had Halle’s first topless movie scene, so that, if anything, caused people to flock to their local cinemas. A computer hacker, played by Hugh Jackman, came into Halle’s room as she was stripping down. She was clad only in her bare essentials, some sexy black lingerie, when Jackman – lucky him! – spooked her, causing her to – unfortunately, as I’m sure many of you would agree – stop taking off items of clothing and point a gun at his head. The scene lasted a couple of minutes and is one of the most iconic, probably most watched scenes from Halle’s vast and extensive filmography. 5. X-Men Premiere When attending movie premieres, most stars tend to get glammed up for the occasion, wear a stunning dress and fabulous items of jewellery, something of that sort. When Halle attended the X-Men premiere in 2000, she got glammed up alright, but not in the conventional sense. The premiere was in NYC in mid-July, so it must have been scorching, and Halle, instead of getting all hot and bothered wearing an uncomfortable dress she was only ever going to wear once and then discard, decided to wear something a little more casual – but still stunning – and walk the red carpet in her beach gear. Not sure how many people have worn that sort of attire to such events, but Halle was sizzling hot, rocked the look, and turned the premiere into a beachy soiree. It’s become a pretty iconic photo, and we, her fans, and even many of her co-stars have said how much they enjoyed Halle “hanging out” at the event. 6. Bikini Time People never tire of seeing the gorgeous Halle Berry on the beach in a bikini, and thankfully there have been plenty of those moments over the years, whether it’s the paparazzi taking snaps of her in her private life, or on the sets of a movie. It seems as if movie directors write her into such roles, because she has been in quite a few scene like the one depicted by this photo over the years, much to everyone’s delight. They know that Halle in a bikini will be an iconic moment in their movie, that it’ll help the movie sell. James Bond films are always going to be popular, but the star cast of Die Another Day meant that more people than usual would’ve flocked to their local cinema, especially after seeing this shot from the film of Halle in her bikini. It’s become another iconic two-piece bikini moment, one of Halle’s best. 7. Winning The Hearts Of Indians Most cultures love it when people not native to their land dress up in their traditional clothes. In India, people follow the whole celebrity and entertainment industries very closely, of course in Bollywood but they also love their American celebs and actresses in the U.S. Fans of Bollywood tend to be fans of Hollywood, and most people know all the star names in the U.S., the massive movie stars from some of the world’s iconic movies, and so plenty know of Halle Berry. She’s got a fanbase across the world, and an especially massive following in India, and that fan following increased massively when this movie still was released from her movie, Cloud Atlas. It shows her wearing a traditional Indian dress, a saree, and decked out in henna tattoos and bangles, looking incredibly hot. That look was just spectacular, and people – including millions of Indians – loved it when she appeared onscreen, resplendent in that red saree. 8. BAFTA Time One of the previous entries on this list was on Halle Berry stealing the show at the X-Men premier, walking the red carpet in very little clothing, in beach gear. But this time she was six years older, and decided to dress up a bit more for the BAFTAs. The BAFTAs are little bit more formal than a film premier, so Halle probably decided she was going to make more of an effort, and boy did she make an effort. When she arrived and began posing for the cameras, the photos just didn’t stop. The photographers would’ve happily stayed there photographing her from every angle all night, but she had to go in and see how well her film, Their Eyes Were Watching God, had done. It was a star-studded event as usual, but Halle made the night all the more memorable for her appearance in that foxy, and pretty revealing gown. 9. Risqué Outfit This is a pic of Halle Berry in a pretty racy outfit. She’d just turned 23, was still a baby in the industry – relatively speaking – had just starred in her first movie, and her face was beginning to get picked up, and by the looks of things, her body was too. This is a pic of her from a magazine photoshoot, one of the first she’d done as a credited movie actress. She’s absolutely sizzling hot in this pic, and the choice of attire isn’t so bad either. Nowadays, young celebs wouldn’t think twice about wearing such a provocative dress, but back then you can bet quite a few people had some things to say about the revealing outfit. But the vast majority, just as they’d do today, would’ve loved it and just lapped it up. This is one pic that would’ve adorned the walls of many boys and young men back in the 90s! 10. She Pulls No Punches That 2003 shoot for FHM was just so good, I had to include another pic from it. Just like the previous pic, Halle’s been sweating it out in the gym, decked out in her jewellery and sexy gym attire. This time around she’d been pounding the punching bag, and had her hands all wrapped up as she goes about her business. FHM really did get her in some super sexy positions; it’s not your conventional shoot, but every single pose she did had the desired effect and as a result of pics like this, that 2003 issue of FHM probably came flying off the shelves. The crazy thing is, is that although the hair’s changed, Halle looks just as good, just as fit nowadays. She truly is an ageless beauty, and we just love looking at these old pics of hers, pulling them out of the Halle Berry photo archives. This just goes to show that old is certainly gold! 11. Miss World Hopeful This is another golden oldie, another seriously old pic taken back when most of you probably weren’t even born. Halle was stopping hearts even at the tender age of 20. She looks unrecognizable in this pic in comparison to what she looks like now as a major Hollywood star. Back then she probably didn’t believe that she’d grow up to become the megastar she is today, and her sole focus was on winning beauty pageants, and doing the whole modeling thing. She did a number of pageants in the 80s, and did pretty well too, winning Miss Teen All-American in 1985 and Miss Ohio USA in 1986, the year this pic was taken. Because of this success, she entered the Miss World competition, becoming the first African-American to do so. She ended up coming sixth, but is all smiles as she poses for the cameras, with her dark curly locks, her ears and wrists adorned with gold, and her face dolled up with makeup. She looked amazing even back then, and pretty soon after this pic was taken, she made the transition to acting. It’s an iconic pic of a young Halle. 12. Dominatrix This is one seriously sexy shoot; it’s probably a lot of people’s fantasies to see Halle in this kind of gear, wearing a police hat and collar and god knows what else underneath – if anything – so set your eyes on this pic and let your imagination run wild! Halle’s graced the covers of a lot of magazines over the years. You’ve seen the pics from that hot and steamy FHM shoot in the previous entries, but this one has got to be right up there. In 2011 Halle heated up the Spanish-language magazine ALMA by appearing on the cover in nothing but a police hat and leather choker. She was certainly unleashing her flirty side in this pic, and there’s kind of a bit of a dominatrix thing going on there too, which only serves to add to the sensuality of it all. There were a number of other super-sexy pics from this shoot, but this one stood out for obvious reasons. 13. Catwoman Talking about the whole dominatrix thing, this kind of ties into that, although it probably wasn’t the director’s primary objective. If you know anything about Halle, you’ll know that she played Catwoman in that 2004 film of the same name. She of course was the main character, and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out why she was cast in the role. She just looked drop dead gorgeous in that Catwoman outfit, and seeing her on the posters in that attire must have caused people to flock to their local cinemas and watch that movie. It actually ended up being a major flop, and is deemed by many to be one of the worst movies of all time, but one saving grace is that Halle looked incredibly hot – at least that’s one thing people could take away from an otherwise disappointing movie.
