It has officially been announced that the band Heart will be embarking on a North American tour called “Love Alive”. It will be their first tour in three years. The tour is specially named after Heart’s 1977 Little Queen track. It will also feature some amazing openers such as Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, Elle King, and Lucie Silvas.
The tour will begin July 9th in St. Louis and run all the way until September 9th in Hollywood. The two Heart band members, Ann and Nancy Wilson, will be including a lot of major cities in this tour as well so keep on reading to see if they’re coming to your city!
Ann has spoken up in a statement regarding the title of the tour. She said, “‘Love Alive’ is a song and a sentiment that goes back a long way with us. It goes forward too. It is a hopeful, positive and universal vibe like we feel this tour will be.”
The tour follows hardship that the family was put through in 2016, when Ann’s husband was arrested on charges of assault towards Nancy’s children. Heart never officially broke up at that point, but the two sisters worked hard and toured separately from each other after the incident.
