Anyone who had a typewriter was very familiar with this tape. Unlike a computer, where a couple simple clicks of the “delete” button will fix your mistakes, typewriter user’s had a bit more trouble fixing their papers if a word is spelt wrong. That’s why this tape was used! After dispensing it into the typewriter, all you had to do was re-type the word and the correction tape would “erase” it! Think, white-out, but in tape form!
