The 90s really brought in some new health standards for their cookies! Low-fat and sugar-free cookies joined their slew of treats for the line-up in 1994.
7. Cookies for the troops
In 2001, Girl Scout cookies were sent to troops overseas. Everyone loves enjoying a nice Girl Scout cookie!
8. Digital Cookie
By 2014, cookie sales had finally made it to the online world with Digital Cookie, an interactive site for Girl Scouts where they “get to play interactive games, watch videos, enjoy printable activities, take fun quizzes and more”.
9. 2018 S’mores Cookie
The Girl Scouts celebrated 100 years of selling by combining the traditional Girl Scout cookies with traditional S’mores, and they’re pretty delicious!
10. Another new cookie for the 2019 year…
There is a brand new Caramel Chocolate Chip Girl Scout cookie joining the line-up this year. They’re also gluten free for those who are interested!
