Halloween is coming up and there’s no doubt your little ones are getting all excited picking out their costumes already! However, there’s a lot of nostalgia-type costumes coming out of the woodworks and parents/grandparents everywhere will be saying ‘aww’ when they find their little one all dressed up in their childhood memorabilia!
There’s still a bunch of other costumes that might scream the 90s or even 2000s. Nevertheless, you’ll still appreciate them and love them just the same. Maybe even get a solid laugh out of it, too. Here are 15 of the best kids Halloween costumes!
1. Cruella DeVille and a Dalmation
The best part about the costume is not even the costume. It’s those eyebrows! If you have a toddler and baby duo, you could most likely pull off this awesome Cruella DeVille and Dalmatian costume.
2. I Love Lucy
This is undoubtedly one of the cutest duo costumes we’ve seen in a while. All you need is two little girls, two aprons, and a red and blonde wig. You’ve got yourself quite an adorable Halloween costume of Lucy and Ethel from I Love Lucy!
3. The Joker
The best part about this costume is not the cool green hair or spooky makeup. It’s that the actual costume itself is super comfortable, so any child who chooses to dress up as The Joker won’t need to worry about the discomfort of any additional accessories.
4. Mutt Cutts Van and Mini-Lloyd
Turn your child into Harry or Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber and make their little toddler car (because they totally have one) into the Mutts Cutts. It might take some extra time and effort, but you and your child will both love the result!
5. GI Joe
Just grab some green clothes, a green helmet, and green paint and you’ve got yourself a GI Joe (or one of those soldiers from Toy Story). Don’t actually attach your child to the platform, though!
6. Oompa Loompa
Oompa Loompa, doo pa dee doo… we’ve got another costume for you! This costume, in particular, is great for babies because they’re great for holding diapers in place. It’s also just downright adorable.
7. Meteorologist
Where’s Jim Cantore with The Weather Channel!? Oh, he’s right there! This meteorologist costume can be made at home easily with a suit (or just a blue shirt and khakis), umbrella, some hair gel, and a microphone.
