Plumbers often refer to tampons as “sewer mice.” You should never flush tampons because cotton doesn’t decompose so tampons can clog up systems.

7. Iguana

A plumber was called to a home where the toilet wouldn’t flush. An iguana had actually entered through a rooftop vent and made its way into the toilet!

8. A “poopsicle”

Okay, gross! Freezing weather almost always leads to frozen pipes, but sometimes plumbers find sewer lines that are frozen solid. Inside, you might find “poopsicles” or frozen feces.

9. Barbie heads

Kids will do the darndest things! Lots of times when the toilet is clogged up and there is a child in the home, the child put something down the toilet. Lots of plumbers say they find barbie heads, mini dolls, and other toys.
