People Are Transforming Their Backyards Into Breathtaking Beaches

If you’ve ever wanted to live near the water and bring your home to the beach, well, now you can bring the beach to your home! A Louisiana-based company, Zydeco Construction, specializes in creating man-made beaches right in people’s backyards. It includes an absolutely gorgeous, turquoise blue water and sand and will definitely make your backyard feel quite tropical!

These beaches can be installed in pretty much any decently sized backyard. Instead of spending thousands of dollars and potentially paying extra for damage due to flooding, a backyard beach is the best way to go. Company owner, Eric White, was in the pool business before he decided to start up a man-made backyard beach business.

White spoke to USA Today about his business and it seems like it’s pretty rewarding so far. “It has always been a dream of mine to do these different things. I am all about figuring out a way to make things happen. I can look at any situation and come up with a way to fix it. I like to stay in the market for things that most companies don’t offer, especially custom requests.”

White isn’t the first one to create this awesome, personalized, backyard beach, but he is the first to invent a patented pump to prevent harmful bacteria from spreading into the pond-like area. Ultimately, it keeps the backyard beach water fresh and clean.

People all over the country are loving this backyard beach trend. They’re also not much more expensive than having a pool installed in your backyard. They usually start at around $20,000 for a standard DIY build, but you’ll definitely want a professional’s help. In addition, you can also be sure that you’re getting your money’s worth. These absolutely stunning pools are popping up everywhere, and one owner even gets paid by visitors to have them swim in his backyard beach!

If you’re interested in hiring Zydeco to install your backyard beach, they regretfully inform you all that you’ll have to wait. “Zydeco construction is in the process of making some changes you will see the swimming ponds soon everywhere please be patient we are overwhelmed with messages every day,” Zydeco posted on their Facebook page.

We are hoping that Zydeco resumes business soon! Be sure to SHARE this article if you want a backyard beach!
