It looks like cities such as New York really don’t give you the bang for your buck that you’d like for $200,000. Additionally, the price per square foot is significantly less down south than it is up north. The homes also just look overall nicer and well-equipped to be placed on the market.
Other hot cities not mentioned include Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, New Orleans, LA, and Oklahoma City, OK. When searching for homes in other states, it’s important to take the location into consideration because that might play a huge role in whether you move to that city or not. Maybe even a larger role than the appearance of the house itself!
