Well, another year has gone by and it has been quite exciting one here at DYR. Including our greatest accomplishment to date when we reached ONE MILLION FRIENDS on Facebook Thanksgiving Day. We feel DoYouRemember is our little oasis of sharing, civility and mutual respect. And ladies and gentlemen you have definitely helped us keep this a special place, by sharing your wisdom and experience with us all while listening to each other.
We who have lived through many of these memories and experiences enjoy reminiscing with each other. And younger people have a chance to see a little of what life was like before they were born. We’ve truly enjoyed sharing our personal favorite memories you. And your response has been so much more than what we could have ever asked for.
There has been an outpouring of sincere emotion shared by those closely involved. Friends, giving each other moral support, and coming together to honor our heroes and loved ones. People seem to forget that history affects real people, where they live, in big and small ways.
At the end of the day this year has been exciting, emotional and very uplifting for all of us at DYR (friends, we’re talking to you too).
We are very interested in your opinions about DYR, and how we can make it even better. We’re also deeply interested in what memories have touched you the most. If you have any stories you’d like to share with us and have published on DoYouRemember Please feel free to submit your memories and ideas >>here<<.
Again, Thank you so much for an amazing 2015!
Best Wishes, From all of us at DoYouRemember: Michael, Alexis, Ariel, David, Fabrizio, Gonzalo, John, Lee and Doreen.
