Meghan Markle Attends First Queen’s Young Leaders Awards With Prince Harry By Her Side

It was reported that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was spotted attending the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards in Buckingham Palace. Joining her was her husband, Prince Harry, and Queen Elizabeth II.

The Duchess wore a blush pink, cap-sleeve midi dress with large buttons and a matching belt, all by Prada. The dress channeled classic designs worn by none other than the late Princess Diana, who often wore a pink look with double-breasted buttons.

The Queen’s Young Leaders Awards celebrates and supports young people from across the commonwealth who are making a lasting legacy and change in their community. Hundreds of applications come in each year from incredible young people who wish to make this change recognized to The Queen. This year’s awards ceremony will be the final year it takes place.

The Duchess of Sussex paired the blush pink dress with black suede pumps and pantyhose. Her hair was simple yet elegant, blown soft and parted down the middle. She completed her look by adding a black clutch for an accessory, and she looked absolutely stunning.

Meghan’s choice in Prada-brand attire has been different in regards to her string of Givenchy dresses worn at other events this year. In addition to that, her own wedding dress was also made by Givenchy, so it sounds like she’s definitely branching out into other high-profile brands!

The Duchess wasn’t the only one who looked absolutely fantastic at the event! Queen Elizabeth sported a mint-colored, flower-print dress to the occasion, accompanied by a pearl necklace and black handbag. Meghan’s husband, Harry, also wore the classic navy suit with a light-blue tie. All of them looked truly effortlessly stunning!

It was both Meghan’s and Prince Harry’s first time attending the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards, and the two definitely made the most of personally meeting with some of the finest youth present. Many of the winners at the awards ceremony come from all over the globe. One of the winners was Lakeyia Joseph who represents Dominica. She spoke about helping the Commonwealth of the area getting their education, getting jobs, and getting them involved in their own communities. It was truly an eye-opening, gracious event for everyone involved.
