On April 23, 2018, Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed their third child, Prince Louis. Just hours after giving birth, Kate carried the baby boy out of the hospital and gave the world a first glimpse of Louis.

The sweet baby was wearing a white bonnet and wrapped in a white blanket. Photographers clamored to get a look at Prince Louis’ face. The photos taken that day were adorable, but royal fans all over the world couldn’t wait to see more pictures of the baby boy.

Before Kate left the hospital, William went to pick up Prince George and Princess Charlotte so that they could meet their new baby brother. Charlotte seemed especially excited to become a big sister, waving at the crowd of people gathered outside of the hospital.

After heading home with Prince Louis, Kate kept a low profile. She stayed home from an Anzac Day service, even though William attended.

Two weeks after Prince Louis’ birth, the royal family shared two brand new pictures of the baby. They wrote, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, taken by The Duchess at Kensington Palace.‬ ‪This image of Prince Louis was taken by The Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace on 26th April.‬ ‪The Duke and Duchess would like to thank members of the public for their kind messages following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday.‬”

The other photo they shared was taken on Princess Charlotte’s third birthday. The three-year-old is kissing her newborn brother on the head, clearly loving her role as a big sister.

How cute are they? If you love the royal family, don’t forget to share this article with your friends!
