Glen Campbell’s son Travis speaks out about the family drama surrounding the legendary country singer following his death from Alzheimer’s last August. “I loved my dad, I loved him very much,” Travis Campbell told Inside Edition.
Speaking to Inside Edition on Wednesday (March 28), Travis refuted claims recently made by Campbell’s widow, Kim, that he was completely absent from his father’s life by choice as the elder Campbell battled Alzheimer’s.
Travis says he’s upset by what has been said about the relationship he had with his father. He said there was no ill will between him and his father, which is not what the singer’s wife of 34 years told Inside Edition when she was recently asked.
“We were able to see him twice a month for four hours at a time,” Travis Campbell says. “So, basically, I saw him every month. The biggest lapse would be two months.”
Neither Campbell nor her attorney immediately replied to a request for comment.
