Jim J. Bullock as Neal Tanner The storm door salesmen and divorcee is Willie’s brother and proves to be a real trooper when he allows Alf to move in with him after Alf bumps heads with Willie. Nowadays, Jim is still in the acting world and has appeared on popular sitcoms like Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide as Mr. Monroe, and The Bold and the Beautiful as Serge. Bill Daily as Larry Daily played Larry, the psychiatrist known for his commitment to privacy, and he keep’s Alf’s shenanigans between them. After Alf, Daily went on to act in the movie I Still Dream Of Jeannie as Roger Healey and he now lives in New Mexico with his wife Becky. He often appears on a local Albuquerque radio station as a guest host. Andrea Covell as Jody Covell played the role of Jody, a single-blind lady who Alf met through a radio talk show. They became very close but she never finds out his big secret which is that he is, in fact, an alien. In 2002, Covell was inducted into the famous West Coast Ensemble theater group and starred in Greetings! and Five Tellers Dancing in the Rain. She now lives in Los Angeles with her children and four cats. Dean Cameron as Robert Sherwood Robert Sherwood is a street performer at the beach who took interest in Lynn and they began dating very soon after they met. Nowadays, Dean tours with his comedian friend Victor Isaac in a 2-man show called “The Nigerian Spam Scam Scam”. He’s also a famous Libertarian who makes appearances speaking publicly about political and social injustice. John LaMotta as Trevor Ochmonek Trevor’s heavy New York City accent, hot temper, frugality, and random drop-ins made him the Tanners favorite neighbor. Not! After Alf, LaMotta graced many famous TV series like ER, Fraiser, and Die Nanny. He now lives peacefully in his New York home and has taken a break from the acting circuit. Liz Sheridan as Raquel Ochmonek Sheridan played Raquel Ochmonek, the lovely wife of Trevor and aunt to Jake. She wasn’t the most loved character, as she was notorious for being grumpy and nosey, often snooping on the neighbors. While Sheridan was on Alf, she was also playing the hilarious mother to Jerry Seinfeld on the hit show Seinfeld. She hasn’t appeared on anything of note since Alf ended in 2004. Josh Blake – Jake Ochmonek Blake played Jake – a troubled youth whose parents abandoned him. Alf and Jake become best friends and Alf helped Jake to shy away from his mischievous ways. After Alf Josh made guest appearances on shows like Home Improvement and Sabrina The Teenage Witch, but today he lives in downtown Los Angeles and is a successful luxury real estate agent. Anne Meara – Dorothy Halligan Meara played Dorothy Halligan, who was Kate’s mother. Dorothy enjoys knitting and gambling on horse races. What she does not enjoy is Alf, as the two have a very tumultuous relationship on the show. She even threatens to turn him into a rug! Meara was able to score a recurring role on the King of Queens as Veronica Olchinand and a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. She, unfortunately, passed away on May 23 of 1015. Mihaly ‘Michu’ Meszaros as Alf If you ever found yourself wondering, who was the guy behind the Alf costume, then wonder no more, it was this guy! Meszaros was a Hungarian actor and entertainer who was the man who made Alf come to life. After Alf, Meszaros appeared alongside pop star Michael Jackson in a Pepsi ad, and he also had a part in Death to Cupid as a Leprechaun in 2015. Sadly, he passed away on June 13th of this year. Anne Schedeen as Kate Tanner Schedeen’s role as Kate Tanner was not an easy one to play. Kate Tanner is the mother figure, as well as disciplinarian of the family, and no one knows this better than Alf who was often punished by Kate. After Alf was canceled, Schedeen landed parts on numerous television series, most recently on Judging Amy as Det. Peggy Fraser. She now lives in Los Angeles and is an antique interior decorator, as well as an acting coach for comedians. Paul Dooley as Whizzer On Alf, Whizzer is Dorothy’s second husband and plays the clarinetist for his band Whizzer Deaver and the Whizztones, another band.
