Directed by Jim Abrahams and David Zucker, "Airplane" quickly earned a reputation as a classic; the movie has received many accolades including a spot on The New York Times list of "1000 Best Movies Ever Made". The movie is a spoof on airplane disaster movies, with Dr. Rumack (played by Nielson) and crew desperately trying to land a plane when the pilot falls ill. Oddly enough hilarity ensues.
