False: It actually takes about three months for a new hair to grow and a further three before you’ll notice it. If you pull out a grey hair, by the time the one you pulled out grows back, a few more will have appeared nearby, so it’ll look as if two have grown in its place.

So it’s best to avoid getting a hangover in the first place. If you’ve been boozing, drink a big glass of water before going to bed. Or, even better, just drink responsibly, as all the ads tell us!
