When it comes to your personal perspective, aging happens slowly. You don't notice crinkles slowly creep into the creases of your eyes and you don't notice the strands and whispers of gray in your hair as they make their way in. Usually, you just wake up one day and realize, "dang, I've gotten old. Where did all this gray hair and all these wrinkles come from?" In fact, just recently the cast of Lord of the Rings came together and posted a selfie on Instagram that has literally exploded on the Internet. Movies and TV shows we grew up with ingrain visions in our mind, those characters are timeless so seeing them 15 years later in the flesh will rock you to your core! Ghostbusters This 1984 thrilling comedy hanging out in 2016 with the re-make cast leaves a lasting impression. 2. Star Wars Between 1980 and 2013 the biggest change was how astronomically our love grew for cinema's favorite characters. 3. Matilda If you can believe this movie came out in 1996 then maybe the bottom photo from 2013 will be slightly less mind-blowing. 4. School of Rock 10 years goes a really long way, as we clearly see here in the difference between the 2003 cast and the 2013 reunion. Can we say our jaws dropped? 5. E.T. the Extra Terrestrial 1982 to 2012, kids grew up and Spielberg never stopped making movies. Do you feel old yet? 6. Back to the Future From 1990 to 2016, we have literally no complaints about this cast. 7. The Wonder Years Between 1984 and 2014 it's safe to say a lot has changed. 8. Married With Children From 1987 to 2014, one of television's funniest families sure has come a really long way, to say the least! 9. Pretty Woman There may be a 24 year difference between the characters in Pretty Woman (1990) and the incredible people they continued to morph into (2014,) but that doesn't leave us any less awed. 10. About Thelma and Louise Between 1991 and 2014 these two women became iconic actresses and aged gracefully. 11. That 70's Show That 70's Show launched in 1998, if you can believe it. In 2013, the cast just looked a little more mature but certainly not "old." 12. Forrest Gump From 1994 to 2014, these stars have only grown further into their fame.
