50 Tragically Hilarious Wedding Announcements

When I was a little girl, I fantasized about the Princess wedding. When I got older, every time I had a crush on a boy, I would imagine my being married to him and what my name would be and I am happy to say, it flows pretty well! Two families - with two different last names - joining together should be a wonderful occasion, but in these people's cases, it was an occasion of hilarity instead of beauty. Enjoy these hyphenated names that they hopefully didn't keep past the wedding day. 1. Gross - Pantti Isn't the word "panti" gross enough already?? 2. Long - Wiwi The groom should probably take the bride's name here. 3. Cockman - Dickman Honestly, what are the odds of these two even meeting, much less getting married? 4. Looney - Warde A match made in Bedlam. 5. Hardy - Harr Their life will be filled with laughter every day. 6. Best - Lay Hopefully, this hyphenated name describes the wedding night... 7. MacDonald - Berger The best part of this is that neither word is *quite* spelled the "right" way. 8. Fillerup - Standing The name "Fillerup" is quite astonishing all on its own. 9. Partee-Moore This name is what everyone will yell at their wedding reception. 10. Kuntz - Dick I believe it's pronounced "koontz." And "deeck." 11. As in "he Wendt-Adaway, officer." 12. Kumon-Topomi I have a feeling Frank Topomi has been getting a lot of flack his whole life for that name...and this isn't going to help. 13. Busch-Rash Not the best place to have a rash. Not that there's any good place to have a rash. 14. Broeker-Nuckles This isn't a very auspicious start to a marriage. 15. Jaeger-Meister Well, we know what the bar will be serving at their reception 16. Golden-Showers You know what? No comment. 17. Beaver-Wetter Ms. Beaver was probably actually quite ready to take her husband's name. 18. Butts-McCracken "Butts" is a hard name to live with already. 19. Drinkwine-Layer First you drink wine. Then... 20. Gowen-Geter I think the groom already did that. 21. Peters-Rising That'll happen on the wedding night, sure. 22. Weener-Whipple Let's be real, these are just funny names. 23. Moore-Bacon I think everyone can agree on this name. 24. Crapp-Beer You might want to bring a flask to this reception. 25. Gay-Cox Now the Gay-Cox wedding can happen in all 50 states! 26. Hunt-Kapture They go together so perfectly. 27. Poore-Sapp We really hope this name isn't a description of either party in this marriage. 28. Rump-Orefice Maybe it's pronounced "or-eh-FEE-chay." 29. Shaver-Nicely Do it nicely. 30. Drilling-Cousin This wedding took place in Kentucky. 31. Bush-Rott These folks were so proud of their name, they put it on their mailbox. 32. Little-Gay Just a little, though. 33. Speedy-Zieper Question: what do you want your groom to have on your wedding night? ;) 34. Stoker-Dailey Sometimes maybe even twice a day if you're up to it. 35. Busch-Hacker The last name "Busch" is just a really tough starting place. 36. Wanamaker-Popp Well, do you? :) 37. Rather-Grim Hopefully these two can make it work anyway. 38. Gorey-Butcher Let's just hope it doesn't turn out to be Gory! 39. House-Rekker These two need to watch their backs! 40. Sharp-Payne Having a last name like that must be a major pain. 41. Wacker-Daily I'll bet you do! 42. Filler-Quick As in "Filler-Quick, we got places to be!" 43. Aikin-Johnson I think there are medications for that. 44. Traylor-Hooker This gets even worse if you flip the names around, too. 45. Wang-Holder Oh dear. 46. Eaton-Cox Nothing odd about this one, clearly! 47. Johnson-Holder Appropriate in more ways than one. 48. Appel-Bottum Wonder if they wore their boots with the fur to the wedding. 49. Ruff-Goings Hopefully, this isn't a description of their marriage. 50. Burger-King Of course the company got in on that sweet, sweet promotional action.
