DuckTales Returns To Our Screens After 30 Years With A New Series!

It ran from September 1987 until November 1990, finishing after 4 seasons and 100 episodes. The show followed Scrooge McDuck and his grand-nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie. The nephews were originally living with their uncle Donald Duck (you may have heard of him), but were left in the care of Scrooge when Donald joined the U.S. Navy. The show normally involved the villains (usually the Beagle Boys and Magica De Spell) trying to get hold of Scrooge’s money, or Scrooge trying to increase his wealth by taking his great-nephews on an adventure to look for some kind of long-lost treasure. The series often referred to popular culture, with examples including James Bond, Sherlock Holmes and Indiana Jones. So it’s with great delight that fans of the original DuckTales will welcome the quack-tastic news that the series is being rebooted! The reboot has been teased for about a year now.
