The show normally involved the villains (usually the Beagle Boys and Magica De Spell) trying to get hold of Scrooge’s money, or Scrooge trying to increase his wealth by taking his great-nephews on an adventure to look for some kind of long-lost treasure. The series often referred to popular culture, with examples including James Bond, Sherlock Holmes and Indiana Jones.
So it’s with great delight that fans of the original DuckTales will welcome the quack-tastic news that the series is being rebooted!

There was also the following amazing video released of the voice-cast singing the theme tune, which thankfully hasn’t changed too much. As you will see, the cast includes David Tennant as the voice of Scrooge, and also features Danny Pudi (Community), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation), and Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) as Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
