4. Thomas Wilson Brown (AKA Russ Thompson, Jr.)

Brown played Russ Thompson in the movie, a teenage neighbour who crushes on Amy. Before this, Brown was the son of a cattle rancher and was first seen in the 1985 Western Silverado, as he was great at riding a horse thanks to his past.

Since then, he’s been seen in a small role in Urban Justice in 2007. He was also in The Mooring, a horror flick, in 2012.

5. Robert Oliveri (Nick Szalinski)

Oliveri played the Szalinski’s youngest son, Nick. The year after starring in the movie, he played the part of another little brother as Kevin in Edward Scissorhands.

Since then, he’s starred in the Honey, I Blew Up The Audience short in 1994. It would be his last appearance on the big screen – he then graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta and is currently living in Florida. He and his wife have a daughter, but no recent pics of the ex-actor can be found!

6. Matt Frewer (AKA Russ Thompson, Sr.)

Frewer played Russ Thompson, Sr., who didn’t at all believe in any of the shrinking antics, even when it involved his two kids! Before that, Frewer was well known for playing the AI character Max Headroom, who appeared in adverts, movies, and a TV show in the 80s.

He now has two recurring sci-fi roles in both Eureka and Falling Skies. He also appeared as a cancer patient character in 50/50.
