In a 2008 interview, self-proclaimed nerd Moby let slip that he had shared a brief dalliance with now-happily-engaged Natalie Portman. He explained: “I guess in some people’s eyes, [nerds] might be mildly sexy – and, as a nerd, I’m certainly happy to enjoy some of the effects of that. But as far as the very brief affair that I had with Natalie, it’s made me a target of a lot of nerd wrath. You don’t date Luke Skywalker’s mom and not have them hate your guts.”

Five years later, the pair got the rumour-mill back into overdrive when they reportedly rekindled their romance for the night, after being spotted sharing a romantic dinner and then leaving together in a limo. A witness said of Lucy: “She looked like she was going to devour him.” Ooh-er matron!

You certainly can’t accuse Brooke Shields of having a type… Back in the 80s, the actress dated Nicolas Cage, and the pair went public at the New York premiere of his 1987 film Moonstruck. The couple split in 1988, after a year of dating.
