4. ‘The Simpsons’ Are Trapped In A Time-Loop

Fans have shared their thoughts and detailed explanations of why the characters of Springfield never age or change with time. Yes, we’re aware that it is an animated show, and with that comes the ability to have non-aging characters. However, this fan theory makes a whole lot of sense.

The “Tesseract theory” explains how the characters are trapped in Springfield as it exists on a plane that is able to be in more than one place at once, grows and shrinks, and shifts throughout the world.

5. Ash Is Really In A Coma And Is Dreaming Everything

A highly detailed theory was shared on Wikipedia’s dark fan theory site, Creepypasta. The story is that when Ash was hit by lightning in an early episode of Pokémon, he fell into a coma. Everything that goes on in the show is just him dreaming.
