New Michael Jackson Biopic Finds Its Star

The Lifetime TV biopic is actually an adaptation of the New York Times Best Seller Remember the Time. The plot focuses on the last three years of Jackson’s life, which were the most critical in his lifetime. The film is told through the perspectives of as Michael’s two bodyguards, Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard.

Navi has obviously previously spoken with the family, but never about this project. Although Michael Jackson’s 18-year-old daughter Paris has outwardly rejected past movie portrayals of her late father, Navi believes that once the family sees the film, they will agree that it is a fair and honest depiction of the artist’s final three years. This will be Navi’s first legitimate acting role for the screen, however after production is over, Navi plans on going back to being just an everyday Michael Jackson tribute performer. He plans to pick his glove back on, slip on his dancing shoes and return to the stage where he feels he truly belongs.
