- High Anxiety (December 25th, 1977)
Right after receiving the title of the director of the Psychoneurotic Institute for the Very, Very Nervous, Dr. Richard H. Thorndyke played by Mel Brooks is greeted by a series of strange events. When his colleagues including the militant and mustachioed Nurse Diesel played by Cloris Leachman become cautious of his questions, they accuse the doctor of murder. Thorndyke’s own mental health comes into question as he tries to clear his name in the midst of a immobilizing condition known as “high anxiety.”
