The Charlie Brown holiday specials are moving to a new streaming service. They were purchased exclusively by Apple TV+ which means they probably won’t air on ABC this year. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and A Charlie Brown Christmas first premiered on CBS but later moved to ABC. They generally play it every year around the holidays.
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is already available on Apple TV+. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will be available on November 18, 2020, and A Charlie Brown Christmas will be available to watch on December 4, 2020.
While there is a fee to use Apple TV+ they are offering free streaming of the Charlie Brown specials for a limited time. For example, “Pumpkin will be streaming free from Oct. 30-Nov. 1, with Thanksgiving following from Nov. 25-27 and Christmas from Dec. 11-13.”
