Gwyneth Paltrow recently turned 48 over the weekend and what better way to celebrate than to pose in her birthday suit? She posted a playful photo to her Instagram account, completely nude. “In nothing but my birthday suit today… thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and thank you to @goop‘s insanely amazing brand new body butter for making me think I can still get my kit off,” she writes in the caption.
Her 16-year-old daughter, Apple, commented hilariously on the photo, “MOM.” Paltrow also shared a joke, saying the best place to be in her birthday suit is near her husband, Brad Falchuk, who also shared a tribute to his wife on her 48th birthday.

“This badass is 48 today,” Brad shares in his caption about Paltrow. “She makes pizza from scratch, is never late for cocktail hour, makes looking good annoyingly easy and never skips an opportunity to put an asshole in his place. She makes friends feel like family and family feel like friends. Trust me, she’s the best.”

Later this month, the couple will be celebrating their 2nd wedding anniversary! They got hitched in September 2018, so there will definitely be another great reason to celebrate. The two also have simple daily routines that keep them connected.
“In the morning, I meditate. Now every morning I recommitted to my meditation during quarantine because I was very sporadic with it,” Paltrow says. “I do that every morning when I wake up for 20 minutes. My husband just learned [transcendental meditation] as well. So we do it together, which is really nice.”
