We reported the sad news that actress Kelly Preston died on Sunday after a two-year battle with breast cancer. Just a month before she died, her final Instagram post was all about her beloved husband John Travolta. She celebrated him for Father’s Day.
On Father’s Day, Kelly shared a selfie of herself, John, and their two children Ella and Benjamin. She also shared a black and white photo of John and their late son Jett. Jett died in 2009 at the age of 16 after suffering a seizure.
She wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to the best one I know, we love you 😘💕” John commented back on the post, writing “I love you all so much!” After news broke of Kelly’s passing, John shared a tribute on his Instagram page. He said he will be taking some time off to mourn and be there for his children.

In addition, Ella wrote a post about her late mother. She wrote, “I have never met anyone as courageous, strong, beautiful and loving as you. Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree that you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine and that makes anyone around you feel instantly happy.”
She continued, “Thank you for being there for me no matter what. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your help and thank you for making this world a better place. You have made life so beautiful and I know you will continue to do so always. I love you so much mama.”
It still doesn’t feel real that Kelly is gone. Sending our condolences to John, Ella, Benjamin, and the family.
