Debra Field has recently won a brand-new car on The Price is Right. After she appeared on television, she found that many people were asking her about the process of obtaining the car. Many asked about the taxes involved, if she drove it home from California where they film the show, or if the car is delivered to her home.
For everyone who is curious, she decided to tell all! Debra said, “I really enjoyed everybody’s reaction watching it. People sent me videos of themselves watching it. And because of the pandemic, everybody was home. All of my girlfriends and all of their kids watched it as a family, which I think is so cool.”
Debra revealed some secrets about her brand new car win on the show
She continued, “They set up a really difficult game to win and they said I nailed it and I knocked it out of the park. Even Drew Carey said that. So that was really, really exciting.” Debra said that when the show was over, she filled out a form. She said that it detailed what she won and gave a disclaimer that she would have to pay California income tax on the prizes.

She revealed, “You see the form, you sign it. And they say, approximately one week before the show airs, you’ll receive a letter from accounting and you’ll see the amount that you owe. Then after the show airs, you can send in your certified check. And then after that, they will contact a local New Jersey car dealership to get your car.”
So there you have it!
