Julie Andrews Appears Alongside Marie Osmond On ‘The Talk’ With A Special Message

Julie Andrews recently appeared on an at-home The Talk segment, virtually tuning in to talk with the ladies of the show. Marie Osmond also shared a throwback photo of the last time Julie Andrews visited the talk show in honor of this new segment, where they, unfortunately, could not be together in person. “The lovely @julieandrews joined us today on “The Talk@Home” and it was so much fun!! Loved seeing you twice since I’ve been with @thetalkcbs, in-person and virtually!” Marie writes on Instagram next to the photo.

During the segment, Andrews talks about the possibility of doing a Princess Diaries 3 movie with Anne Hathaway. She also talks about “getting old and crotchety,” which many people would likely disagree with! Andrews also has a special message for people going through these rough times with the ongoing coronavirus.

“Remember the love I think. Remember to be patient and kind. And we’re all frightened, everybody is scared and not sure when you can’t control something… so we’re all in it together, but I think because we’re all in it together, it means that we should respond to what we’re being asked to do,” Andrews says when asked if she has a special message to people right now.

“We shouldn’t fight against it. I know we’re all restless and dying to get out and go back to restaurants and see the theater and so on and, we will. But right now I think people have to be aware of others and be patient.”

New movies coming up?

So, can we expect Andrews to hit movie theatres anytime soon? She says that there is a possibility. “It’s long been talked about but nothing sort of been on my desk or anything like that. I think I would. I’m getting awfully old and crotchety. I’m not sure if it’s the right timing, but I think to work with Annie [Hathaway] would be lovely again. And yeah, sure I would be up for it. I think we should wait if the script comes in, just wait for that.”
