Where Were You When You Heard the News?

Not since the J.F. K. assassination did the world stop still as it did on September 11th. The violent and shocking images and tremendous devastation was incomprehensible. It made no sense. It could not be sorted out. How could such a thing be happening?

Memories that will live with us until we die took root the very minute we heard the news. Some were just coming out of the subway and looked up, some heard a bulletin on their car radio and pulled over. Others in Kansas City, Los Angeles, Tokyo and beyond saw the shocking images live on television.
