FDA Recalls Ragu Pasta Sauces Due To Possible Plastic Contaminations

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a recall of many Ragu pasta sauces today. The worry is that the sauces may contain plastic fragments. The food company Mizkan American had initially reported the recall a few months ago.

The good news is that the FDA has said that there have been no complaints or injuries reported. In addition, the sauces that were affected were produced between June 4 and June 8, 2019. If you have purchased any Ragu products in the past few months, make sure to check your kitchen.

According to CBS New York, here are the Ragu products affected in the recall. Check your refrigerator or cabinets to see if you have any of the affected products. You will want to return or throw away immediately, for instance.
