Ladies and gentlemen, we now have our first hurricane of the season and it is massive. Our very first hurricane is currently Category 4 Hurricane Barbara. Barbara started as a measly tropical depression, then formed from a tropical storm to full-blown Category 4 in a matter of 24 hours. She is forecast to become a Category 5 storm, with winds of at least 157 mph.
Thankfully, Barbara is just hanging out in the open waters right now. But it is an absolute monster. It’s predicted that Hawaii might get the tail end of the storm with some wind and rain.
